Gold Coast Car Parts (we, us, our) is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect through this website and by phone, why we collect it, and how you can contact us about it.
When you request a quote through this website or call us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details (make, model, year, colour, registration or VIN) and the parts you are looking for. We also collect standard web server logs and basic, non-identifying analytics about how the site is used.
Quote requests submitted on this website are delivered to us by email and stored in a private spreadsheet that only our staff can access. We use trusted third party services to run this (currently Zapier and Google Workspace), which may store data on servers outside Australia. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone except where needed to deliver your part (for example a courier) or where required by law.
This site uses a small amount of local browser storage to remember display preferences. If we add analytics, it will be privacy friendly and will not identify you personally. Embedded Google Maps may set cookies governed by Google's privacy policy.
